Gotion High-tech Releases First Generation of All-solid-state Battery with A Range of 1,000 Kilometers

On May 17, at the 13th Science and Technology Conference of Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Gotion High-tech), the company released three latest battery products. Among them, the first generation of all-solid-state battery released - the new energy vehicle battery pack made by "Jinshi" battery, has a single charge range of up to 1,000 kilometers.

At the meeting, Cao Yong, deputy director of the Industrial Research Institute of Gotion High-tech, released a new super-fast charging product, the G-Grade Battery, which uses 5C super-fast charging technology, which can achieve 80% energy replenishment in 9.8 minutes and 90% energy replenishment in 15 minutes. It supports full-scenario applications such as pure electric and extended-range hybrid, covering lithium iron phosphate, lithium iron manganese phosphate and ternary systems.

The second new product unveiled at the meeting was the new generation of Star Battery. Cheng Qian, director of Gotion High-tech International Engineering Research Institute, said in the release that the new generation of Star Battery is the company's latest ternary system 46 large cylindrical product with high energy density and ultra-long cycle life. The fast charging performance of the Star Battery is also excellent, which can achieve 4C fast charging and achieve energy replenishment from 10% to 70% in 9 minutes.

The third new product released on the same day was Gotion High-tech's all-solid-state battery, the Jinshi Battery. Dr. Pan Ruijun, chief engineer of the company's all-solid-state battery project, introduced that the team achieved a technological breakthrough in all-solid-state battery materials through micro-nano solid electrolytes, ultra-thin film-coated single crystal positive electrodes and three-dimensional mesoporous silicon negative electrodes.

At present, Jinshi Battery has passed the 200-degree hot box test at one time, and its safety far exceeds the national standard requirements. The new energy vehicle battery pack built based on Jinshi Battery has an 80% mass grouping rate and a single charge range of up to 1,000 kilometers.
